We are seeking a business leader who will be the voice of the consumer, leading our brands through strong planning capability and understanding as well as leading global, regional and local business conversations across Diageo.Future success relies on galvanizing all parts of the business behind our marketing strategy and outstanding execution of our marketing principles, including innovation that is key in accelerating recruitment, pressurization and overall brand performance. The role will have 2 direct reports. Personal ownership of our marketing agenda, the motivation to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done, and the drive and ambition to lead our strategy to brilliant execution is a must. Leadership Responsibilities Lead the step change on how we "win differently through marketing:"Champion consumer and occasion centricity- unleashing portfolioand brandsChampion bolder creative work aligned with new global/local operating modelDefine best practice to step change efficiency and effectiveness at POPDeliver 55/35/10 A&P model, dramatically reducing non-working spendSimplify marketing and innovation processes to drive agilityPortfolio strategy and annual brand planning leadershipMarketing capability ownershipMarket Research ownershipInsight generation and Consumer Connections FrameworkCampaign development process, specifically brief alignmentTeam leadership for planning, PR and CultureBudget oversight for all the above What will you bring to the table?
