Journalist (Superannuation, Finance & News) – Remote | Full-time or Part-time

Our content helps guide and support Australians over 60 through their most exciting years - covering everything from superannuation and retirement finance to health, travel, current events, and lifestyle.

What You’ll Do

Write accessible, engaging articles about superannuation, retirement planning, and financial topics for our 60-plus audience Cover general news, lifestyle, and current affairs stories as part of our fast-moving newsroom Conduct interviews with subject-matter experts and community voices Step into the Acting Editor role when the Editor is on leave (as required) Work closely with a tight-knit editorial team that values smart, impactful storytelling What We’re Looking For

A journalist or experienced content writer with a strong grasp of retirement finance and superannuation issues Confidence in breaking down complex financial topics for everyday readers A reliable team player who meets deadlines and thrives in a digital environment Prior editorial experience or the desire to grow into an editorial support role Experience in digital publishing, SEO, and CMS platforms is a plus

Work Your Way

We’re based in Brisbane but offer flexible remote working options Australia-wide. This role can be full-time, or split between two part-time team members if the right candidates emerge.
