About the Role SmarterHome.ai is seeking talented Virtual Assistant (VA) Content Writers to join our expanding content team. As part of our hyper-local SEO initiative, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, locally tailored Google Business Profile (GBP) posts and blog articles that support our 180 kiosk locations across the United States. This is a long-term, high-volume project that plays a crucial role in improving our brand’s online visibility and driving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities - Write 100+ GBP posts weekly (150–250 words each), ensuring each post is: Locally specific to a kiosk’s city/region. - Aligned with SmarterHome.ai’s brand voice. - SEO-optimized with relevant keywords. - Create 100+ city-specific blog articles per month (minimum one per city). - Research local markets to reference community details, internet, mobile, TV, and home security providers. - Collaborate with the Content Manager and editorial team for assignments, feedback, and revisions. - Work closely with schedulers and graphic designers to align written content with visual assets. - Maintain a consistent weekly output while meeting all deadlines. - Participate in content planning sessions to improve efficiency and quality. Qualifications - Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or VA specializing in local SEO. - Strong research skills with the ability to write tailored content for different U.S. regions. - Understanding of Google Business Profile posts and their role in local search optimization. - Excellent command of English with strong grammar and writing style. - Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet high-volume deadlines. - Experience with basic SEO principles and keyword usage. - Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of U.S. city demographics and regional nuances or capability to learn. - Previous experience with large-scale content production.
