Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Certified ASL Interpreter for their Seattle, WA location. Responsibilities: Provide precise and confidential ASL interpretation services during all applicable organizational interactions involving a designated team member, including meetings, presentations, and informal communications. Act as the chief facilitator of communication for our team member who is Deaf, ensuring accessibility and inclusion in all professional settings. Proactively prepare for engagements by researching and understanding specific sector or technical vocabularies needed for scheduled interpretation sessions. Organize and maintain calendar schedules for 2 VPs, prioritizing optimal organization of their commitments. Arrange logistical details for meetings, including coordination of spaces, and provision of prerequisite materials. Handle confidential documentation and communications with discretion. Act as a point of contact among executives, staff, and external stakeholders. Demonstrate strict adherence to the interpreters code of conduct and professional ethics. Maintain the confidentiality of information exchanged in an interpreting situation. Demonstrate a continuous commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and reliability. Provide excellent ASL/English interpretation services professionally and competently within a variety of settings, registers, and formats: Potential for multiple participants via video and any number of participants in the same room Planned services
