📣 🎮 🎮 🎮 【Position Title】CN-EN Game Localization Specialist (Native English Speaker) 【Location】Shanghai, China (Candidates currently based in Shanghai are preferred) 【Employment Type】Direct employment with the client company. Work visa sponsorship available for qualified foreign candidates. 【Job Responsibilities】 1.Translate in-game text and marketing materials from Chinese to English with linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance; 2.Review and polish translations delivered by external vendors, ensuring terminology consistency and meeting launch-quality standards; 3.Adapt and rewrite game scripts and character dialogues to enhance immersion and player experience; 4.Conduct LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) testing, correcting linguistic and formatting issues; 5.Collaborate with the development and localization teams to refine cultural expressions while preserving the original creative intent; 6.Support the localization PM team in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.

【Qualifications】 1.Native English speaker — candidates from the UK or the US preferred (other native English-speaking countries also considered); 2.Fluent Chinese communication skills, capable of working effectively with Chinese teams; 3.Minimum 5 years of game localization experience (portfolio or project samples required); 4.Proficient in major localization tools (e.g., Phrase or similar); 5.Exceptional editing and linguistic quality control skills, with a deep understanding of cultural nuances and adaptation; 6.Passionate gamer, ideally familiar with anime-style or narrative-driven games; 7.Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Cultural Studies, or related fields preferred.
