The Regional Healthcare Workforce Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders for the Upstate AHEC regional center. This work includes meeting with and developing relationships with healthcare employers in the region to understand local healthcare workforce dynamics, collecting data about employer workforce needs, developing an understanding of local health workforce pipeline and identifying gaps, and connecting stakeholders with data and information about the health workforce to enable data-driven decision making to address workforce needs. This role requires frequent travel to meet stakeholders face-to-face and conduct meetings to gather information on the needs of the employers and other stakeholders in the region. This role is responsible for entering and maintaining data in a customer relationship management (CRM) tool as a way to collect and compile information for analysis at the regional and statewide level.
