Turkish Technical Writer Job

Looking to hire a Turkish Translator for a project.

Who can apply: Only candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Turkish translation are eligible to apply.

Other requirements: 1. Native fluency in Turkish & English (written and spoken). 2. Demonstrable experience in translation and localisation, preferably for website or digital content. 3. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or similar. 4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high linguistic quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Translation & localisation: Translate all website content, including marketing copy, product descriptions, help articles, and technical documentation, from English into native-level Turkish. 2. Quality assurance: Review and proofread translated content for linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural appropriateness (localisation). 3. Maintenance: Work within the content management system (CMS) to upload, manage, and update translated pages, ensuring all multilingual versions are synchronised with the source English content. 4. Terminology management: Develop and maintain glossaries and style guides for each language to ensure consistency across all platforms. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, development, and content teams to align translation efforts with product launches and website updates.
