🌎 Freelance Translation & Localization Project – Latin American Spanish Variants 🇲🇽🇨🇴🇦🇷🇨🇱🇵🇪

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m looking for a freelance translator / localization specialist to help with a side project focused on translating and adapting digital content for different Latin American Spanish audiences. The project includes short-form web copy, in-app text, and marketing materials.

🗓️ Timeline: approx. 8–10 weeks, starting next week 💻 Remote: absolutely fine - we’ll collaborate online 💰 Payment: milestone-based (every 2 weeks)

What I need help with:

Translating and localizing content originally in English Adapting tone and vocabulary for specific markets (e.g., Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, etc.) Ensuring natural phrasing while maintaining brand consistency Reviewing and testing the text in context (UI/UX copy)

Nice-to-have experience:

Background in marketing or UX writing Familiarity with localization tools (e.g., Crowdin, Lokalise, Smartling) Understanding of neutral Spanish vs. regional adaptations Strong grasp of cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions
