Content Strategist Job

Job Title: UX Design Lead Location: Brooklyn, NY Work Location: Hybrid—3 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY & 2 days remote Only Local Candidates (NJ/NY, commutable distance to Brooklyn)

Mandatory Qualifications 15+ years of proven UX/interaction design experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating successful consumer-facing projects. Advanced proficiency in Figma with the ability to deliver end-to-end design solutions. Deep understanding of user-centered design and accessibility best practices. Experience conducting usability testing and translating findings into design improvements. Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners. Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships during the design process.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience working with public sector/government partners. Familiarity with limited or evolving design systems. Experience in inclusive design, accessibility standards, and equity-focused UX practices. Ability to lead design projects from concept to implementation using research-driven methodologies. Strong analytical skills to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, content strategists, and developers to translate user needs into design solutions. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma. Conduct prototype testing, analyze results, and deliver actionable design recommendations. Partner with content strategists to define a content design strategy that enhances user experience. Work closely with developers (front-end and back-end) to ensure seamless design-to-development handoff and implementation. Continuously improve usability and accessibility, guided by user research, feedback, and analytics. Clearly articulate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
