Job Title: Senior Lecturer – English Language Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland Contract Type: Expat Only Salary Range: $800 – $1,000 per month plus benefits Reporting to: Dean, Respective College / Academic Director

Job Purpose: To deliver high-quality English language instruction across CEFR levels (A1–C2) and College English, mentor student research, and enhance academic English proficiency at the university.

Key Responsibilities:

· Teach 21–24 credit hours per week (CEFR-based English & College English).

· Prepare course outlines, assessments, and innovative teaching materials.

· Publish or submit at least 1 peer-reviewed paper annually.

· Supervise 5–15 undergraduate research projects per semester.

· Support IELTS/TOEFL preparation and academic writing development.

· Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation, and faculty committees.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Master’s in English Language, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or related field.

· Minimum 2–3 years of university teaching experience.

· Native English speaker with background in Western (UK, US, European, or Australian) institutions strongly preferred.

· Experience in CEFR English instruction and College English courses.

· Familiarity with digital language teaching tools and academic writing standards.
