Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with strong skills in creating high-quality documentation for software products, APIs, platforms, and internal processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to produce clear, concise, and user-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, API documentation, release notes, system architecture documents, FAQs, and installation manuals.  Work with SMEs, developers, and product managers to gather information and translate complex concepts into simple, understandable content.  Create structured documentation based on style guides, templates, and industry standards.  Review, edit, and proofread documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.  Maintain document repositories and ensure version control using tools like Git, Confluence, or internal CMS.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation aligns with product updates and release timelines.  Convert technical requirements into end-user documentation.  Assist in creating visuals, diagrams, and flowcharts using tools like Visio, Draw.io, Figma, or similar.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–8 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Writer in a software or IT environment.  Strong ability to understand software development concepts, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.  Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, MS Office, Google Docs, or similar tools.  Experience with version control tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab.  Ability to write structured, concise, and user-friendly documentation.  Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software release processes.  Experience creating diagrams and technical visuals
