DevOps Engineer Job

Role: DevOps Engineer Location: 100% Remote

Job Overview We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in CI/CD automation, cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and reliable deployment pipelines, managing cloud services, and supporting production environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments, automate infrastructure, and optimize system performance. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Monitor and optimize cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), including resource utilization and cost management Configure logging, alerting, and monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, etc. Manage version control, branching strategies, and release management Integrate DevOps tools with cloud and on-prem environments Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues Work in Agile environment: sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and daily standups Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in DevOps engineering and automation practices Proficiency with scripting languages: Bash, Python, or Shell scripting Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, etc.) Knowledge of IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation Experience working with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and security best practices Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration Cloud or DevOps certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, CKA, Terraform, etc.) Strong communication and documentation skills
