🌟HIRING - MALAYSIA 🚨Position: Naval Architect & Structural Engineer 📍Location: SIP KL 📍Duration: 6–7 Months

🔧Project Overview: Join a long-term #FPSO/ #FSO project with over 15 years of service, as the client seeks a 15-year Class Life Extension (LE2041) from ABS. You will play a crucial role in ensuring hull integrity, structural strength, and fatigue life assessments to support dry-docking and steel renewal programs.

🔧Key Responsibilities: ✅Provide technical oversight for ABS Consulting’s Life Extension study. Review and challenge methodologies, assumptions, models, and results (global/local strength, fatigue, hull–turret interface). ✅Ensure compliance with ABS Life Extension requirements and project objectives. ✅Coordinate technical interfaces with Client, ABS Consulting, and ABS Class. Support conversion of study outputs into RLE work packages (steel renewals, structural strengthening). ✅Report progress, risks, and key issues to Project Management.

Candidate Profile: ✅Degree in Naval Architecture, Structural, or Marine Engineering. Minimum 10 years’ experience in FPSO/FSO or offshore hull & structural engineering. ✅Strong expertise in hull strength and fatigue assessment; familiarity with FEA tools (SACS, ANSYS) is an advantage. ✅Experienced in classification society submissions for life extension/conversion projects. ✅Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with Owner, Consultant, Class, and Shipyard.
