About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team at 10x Genomics. This role is responsible for driving the success of our Chromium and Visium franchises and increasing consumables utilization within academic and government accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in Single Cell and Spatial profiling, with the ability to consult with customers and influence key decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and manage a territory plan to meet or exceed business goals
- →Consult with customers on technology solutions using technical credibility
- →Demonstrate strong sales management skills with hunting, prospecting, and closing abilities
- →Establish trust with customers and provide consultative solutions
- →Develop deep knowledge of customer ecosystems and decision-makers
- →Work effectively with sales and support teams
- →Collaborate with other roles to drive customer decisions
- →Manage post-purchase support to identify new research opportunities
- →Commit to rigorous business and territory planning
- →Maintain current knowledge of genetic analysis markets and products
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
- ✓Minimum of 2 years sales experience in Life Science
- ✓Extensive knowledge of single cell and spatial biology tools
- ✓Ability to travel as needed
- ✓Proven ability to establish long-term customer relationships
- ✓Strong customer-facing skills
