About the Role

We are looking for a Head of DevOps to lead our infrastructure and platform engineering team at 1inch. This role involves building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, creating tools for deployment and management, and ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

→Define and execute DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives
→Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers
→Foster a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and shared responsibility
→Oversee multi-cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters
→Ensure infrastructure changes are managed through Infrastructure as Code
→Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines
→Lead the implementation of service level indicators and observability stack
→Ensure security by design across all infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

✓8+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
✓Deep expertise in Kubernetes including cluster management, networking, and security
✓Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps practices
✓Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices
✓Proficiency with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, GCP)
✓Experience with service mesh technologies and microservices architecture
✓Solid understanding of observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing)
✓Experience implementing security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
✓Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
