The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Senior Content Manager to lead the content and editorial strategy across three of the UK’s leading company formation brands.
You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing SEO-led content strategies that drive organic growth, improve content performance, and strengthen brand authority in a highly competitive search landscape - including emerging AI-driven and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) discovery channels.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the full content lifecycle, from strategy through to execution. You’ll lead a distributed team of freelance writers and editors, while also designing and optimising workflows that leverage LLMs and GenAI tools to scale high-quality content production efficiently and responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute SEO-led content strategies to drive organic growth and performance
· Own the end-to-end content lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, SEO- and GEO-optimised output
· Lead editorial strategy across three brands, aligning content with commercial goals
· Build, manage, and scale a high-performing freelance content team
· Set clear briefs, workflows, and quality standards; coach and develop writers
· Design and optimise LLM-enabled content workflows, embedding GenAI effectively and responsibly
· Establish AI governance and continuously improve human + AI collaboration models
· Write, edit, and optimise long-form content to drive visibility, authority, and engagement
· Train writers on SEO, GEO, and AI-assisted content best practices
· Monitor performance, using data and insights to refine strategy and improve results
· Translate complex topics into clear, authoritative content for small business audiences
· Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to deliver aligned, high-impact content
What we are looking for
· Proven experience in a senior content, editorial, or content strategy
· Strong expertise in SEO-led content strategy and performance optimisation
· Demonstrated experience managing freelance content teams
· Experience integrating LLMs / GenAI tools into content workflows, with a clear understanding of their strengths, limitations, and risks
· Strong editorial judgment and writing skills, with experience producing or editing high-quality long-form content
· Data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics and SEO tools to inform content decisions
· Solid understanding of emerging GEO and AI-driven search trends
· Ability to simplify complex, technical, or regulatory topics into clear, engaging, and authoritative content
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Experience in B2B, financial services, legal, or small business sectors is advantageous but not essential
· Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable being hands-on when needed
