About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Abacum, a leading Business Planning solution for finance teams. You will be responsible for scaling our native cloud systems, ensuring optimal availability, and enabling the engineering team to develop advanced FP&A AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure systems
- →Collaborate with engineers to perform experiments and test new ideas
- →Build a strong DevOps culture and tooling for autonomous delivery teams
- →Deploy and manage infrastructure provisioning
- →Develop real-time observability solutions for system health
- →Provide technical guidance on operations and cloud best practices
- →Continuously improve CI/CD delivery
- →Implement security measures for development processes
- →Build and scale Kubernetes clusters and workloads
- →Manage and scale cloud databases
- →Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE or a comparable role
- ✓Deep knowledge of cloud systems, especially AWS
- ✓Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Proficiency in IaC (Terraform is a plus)
- ✓Strong proficiency in building and scaling Kubernetes clusters
- ✓Expertise in Bash/Posix and a high-level language like Python
- ✓Strong proficiency in architecting monitoring systems (Datadog is a plus)
- ✓Versatile, hands-on approach from engineering strategy to low-level details
- ✓Empathetic and humble, with the ability to speak up respectfully and compromise when needed.
