About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Developer to serve as a technical architect and security gatekeeper for an AWS cloud hosting platform. This role involves ensuring platform readiness for containerized applications and developing automated pipelines with security-by-design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and implement cloud infrastructure for applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
- →Analyze applications and provide recommendations for platform migration, deployment into a cloud environment, and optimization
- →Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services
- →Manage policies for cloud service usage, new technology requests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environment
- →Ensure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud services
- →Work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software
- →Debug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure
- →Platform governance by enforcing compliance frameworks following Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA)
- →Maintain ATO compliance and remediation of security findings throughout the accreditation process for infrastructure, platform and application components
Requirements
- ✓BS Degree and 8 years experience
- ✓Proven experience in cloud architecture and cloud service delivery models
- ✓Strong analytical skills to provide recommendations for cloud migration and deployment
- ✓Ability to manage cloud policies and ensure secure cloud environments
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- ✓Onsite Requirement in Washington, DC
- ✓US Citizenship required
- ✓Active TS/SCI required
