About the Role
We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team at Carson Farms, a 157-unit community located in Delaware, Ohio. This role focuses on recognizing and understanding the ongoing needs of the community and carrying out or directing the onsite team to accomplish all budgeted and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Maintain a strong strategic awareness of the community’s evolving requirements related to facilities and performance
- →Collaborate with the Recruiter and Regional Manager to recruit and interview candidates
- →Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision for the leasing and maintenance teams
- →Create site-level meeting frameworks to support clear and consistent communication
- →Function as decision maker for resident and prospect related feedback and concerns
- →Leverage property management software and reporting capabilities to evaluate and manage property level occupancy and financial performance
- →Collaborate with leadership team on the implementation and execution of marketing strategies
- →Manage site-level Capital Expenditure projects while collaborating with leadership team
- →Demonstrate the ability to perform various job functions as needed to meet operational demands
Requirements
- ✓Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm + at least one Saturday per month
- ✓At least 2 years of residential property management or relevant leadership, operations, and/or performance management experience
- ✓Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification preferred
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- ✓Proven ability to meet the financial goals of a community
- ✓Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft office
- ✓Understanding of applicable Fair Housing laws and standards
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
