About the Role
Actian is seeking a BI & AI SDR to help establish and scale pipeline for their fast-growing Business Intelligence and AI capabilities. This role focuses on engaging prospects interested in AI-powered data visualization and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- →Qualify and convert interest from prospects exploring Actian’s BI and AI-powered analytics tools
- →Serve as the first point of contact for prospects and engage users of free or trial BI tools
- →Identify business needs, stakeholders, and use cases, and document insights in Salesforce
- →Drive outbound outreach into target accounts and new personas within existing Actian customers
- →Execute thoughtful, multi-channel outreach that highlights ease of use, business value, and AI-driven insights
- →Partner with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to progress opportunities
- →Maintain accurate territory plans, activity tracking, and pipeline data in Salesforce
Requirements
- ✓6+ months of sales, customer success, or customer-facing experience
- ✓Comfort engaging a range of stakeholders via phone, email, and social channels
- ✓Strong discovery skills and ability to communicate value clearly
- ✓Interest in BI, analytics, and AI-driven technology
- ✓A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organization and follow-through
- ✓Experience with Salesforce and modern sales tools is a plus
