About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development of our US Banking Product at Adyen. This role involves influencing the vision and strategy for a rapidly evolving offering that powers how businesses open, manage, and move money directly within our product.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the Roadmap: Develop and execute the technical roadmap for expanding our embedded and enterprise banking proposition in the US.
- →Technical Authority and Excellence: Act as a technical leader and domain expert for the banking product, ensuring high technical standards.
- →People & Performance: Coach, mentor, and build a high-performing team of Backend and Frontend engineers.
- →Execution & Ownership: Work closely with Product Managers to manage project timelines and enforce best engineering practices.
- →Client & Product Focus: Maintain a strong product mindset, understanding clients' needs and shaping the future direction of the product.
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in people management.
- ✓Experience working in the FinTech domain with exposure to Issuing and/or Banking.
- ✓High technical bar and in-depth knowledge of building and scaling API-based financial services.
- ✓Strong execution skills, including effective communication and stakeholder management.
- ✓Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple teams and external partners.
- ✓Customer care focus, delivering a delightful experience for clients.
