About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our team in Manchester. This role focuses on leading the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary complex projects within collaborative delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead local office operations and act as the day-to-day leadership presence for the Manchester PM team
- →Drive targeted recruitment to support planned regional growth
- →Manage team structure, line management arrangements, and regular engagement with all team members
- →Set meaningful personal and business objectives aligned with regional performance targets
- →Support career development plans and progression pathways across the team
- →Monitor and maintain utilisation to ensure strong commercial performance
- →Ensure team CVs and capability profiles are current, compelling and client-ready
- →Foster a positive team culture through regular engagement and local initiatives
- →Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Managers, Graduates and Apprentices
- →Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction
- →Support and manage the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects
- →Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team
- →Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients
Requirements
- ✓Experience in project management within infrastructure sectors
- ✓Strong leadership and team management skills
- ✓Ability to drive targeted recruitment and manage team structure
- ✓Experience in setting objectives and supporting career development
- ✓Proficiency in monitoring utilisation and maintaining commercial performance
- ✓Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
