About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Architecture Designer to join our Los Angeles Architecture studio. This role will work on exciting, large-scale projects including LA28 and other city infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations
- →Prepare specifications, reports and related data tables
- →Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups
- →Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required
- →Perform technical assignments under the direction of the Supervising Architect
- →Coordinate technical and administrative activities with other disciplines
- →Assist in training and evaluation of architectural and design personnel
Requirements
- ✓Ability to support design visions, concepts, and overall design process
- ✓Experience with complex multi-layered design problems and solutions
- ✓Understanding of the design platform and collaboration with technical experts
- ✓Knowledge of various project typologies including Science & Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Commercial, Aerospace, Higher Education, Industrial and Process, Transportation, Aviation, Sports and Federal market sectors
- ✓Ability to incorporate beauty, sustainability, resiliency, equity, and innovation in projects
