About the Role
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Senior Regulatory Specialist/Project Manager for immediate employment within their Natural Resources group. This hybrid role will be based in their Sacramento office and support numerous natural resource projects across California.
Key Responsibilities
- →Independently manage project teams to prepare large, complex natural resources documents such as Biological Technical Reports, Biological Assessments, and various permit applications
- →Manage projects with large-scale field efforts and intensive schedules
- →Manage large-scale compliance projects requiring adherence to permit conditions
- →Perform project management duties including forecasting, tracking, accounting updates, invoicing, progress reports, and scheduling
- →Review contracts for understanding of scope, fee, schedule, and deliverables
- →Monitor and analyze project costs, commitments, accruals, and changes
- →Operate as primary point of contact for clients and resource agencies
- →Perform client management duties such as recurring status meetings and milestone check-ins
- →Prepare or contribute to competitive proposals and participate in interviews
- →Contribute to growth of practice through business development
Requirements
- ✓Experience in natural resources project management and regulatory compliance
- ✓Knowledge of environmental permitting processes and requirements
- ✓Strong project management skills with ability to manage complex projects
- ✓Excellent communication and client management abilities
- ✓Experience with proposal preparation and business development
- ✓Ability to lead project teams and mentor junior staff
