About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Incident Handler to join our 24x7 security operations team at Agile Defense. This role involves monitoring security alerts, performing initial event triage, and supporting incident response activities. It's an excellent opportunity for an emerging cyber professional to gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor security alert queue from SIEM, EDR, and other security tools
- →Perform initial analysis to classify and prioritize security events
- →Execute initial response steps based on documented playbooks
- →Accurately escalate qualified incidents to intermediate and senior handlers
- →Document all analysis and actions taken in the incident management system
- →Adhere to standard operating procedures for incident handling
- →Assist senior team members in investigating complex incidents
Requirements
- ✓0-2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related technical role
- ✓Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and common network protocols
- ✓Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM and Endpoint Detection and Response platforms
- ✓Strong eagerness to learn and developing analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ✓Good written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based operational environment
