About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our Enterprise Business team at Airwallex. This role involves acting as the technical advisor for enterprise and high-growth customers across Europe, guiding complex API integrations and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities

→Act as the technical owner for a portfolio of customers integrating and scaling on Airwallex’s platforms
→Build deep expertise in Airwallex’s payment, treasury, issuing and embedded finance products
→Diagnose and resolve complex technical and operational challenges across the stack
→Serve as a strategic technical partner for enterprise clients
→Plan and lead regular business and technical reviews
→Own technical escalations for accounts
→Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to identify expansion opportunities
→Use product usage data and client health indicators to monitor account health
→Stay current on the European payments and fintech landscape
→Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders

Requirements

✓5+ years in a technical customer-facing role within payments, fintech, SaaS or financial services
✓Strong technical foundation with understanding of APIs, SDKs, webhooks and system integrations
✓Proven experience designing, implementing and supporting integrations for payment or financial product stacks
✓Track record of diagnosing and solving complex technical and operational issues
✓Experience acting as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers
✓Commercial mindset with ability to identify and shape upsell and cross-sell opportunities
✓Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
✓Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
