About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join Alarm.com's international team in Colombia. This role focuses on supporting partners and ensuring they effectively utilize Alarm.com's services and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the Technical Onboarding process for new partners
- →Manage key international partners to ensure efficient use of Alarm.com services
- →Provide ongoing product support and training to partners via webinars and on-site
- →Champion partner requirements by gathering feedback to improve products and processes
- →Represent Alarm.com at trade shows and events
- →Demonstrate understanding of all Alarm.com product features to respond to partner inquiries
- →Create training materials like presentations, technical guides, and videos
- →Conduct tests for new features in cooperation with Product Managers and Quality Engineers
- →Drive adoption of key tools that impact partners' business operations
Requirements
- ✓BA or BS in Engineering, Math, or sciences preferred
- ✓Ability to communicate in English with vendors and internal teams
- ✓Other languages are a plus
- ✓Self-starter who can operate independently
- ✓Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology
- ✓Strong people skills with a natural customer service orientation
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to meet deadlines during high-volume periods
- ✓Flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit
- ✓Availability to travel up to 65% within the LATAM region
- ✓Experience with intrusion detection systems, access control, home automation, or video over IP is a plus
- ✓Must work from the Bogota office at least 3 days per week when not traveling
