About the Role
Alif Semiconductor is seeking a motivated Senior Application Engineer to join their team in Pleasanton, CA. This role involves promoting and supporting the groundbreaking Ensemble Micro Controllers, working in a fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design Embedded Firmware, Application Examples and Proof-of-Concept solutions
- →Support Alif Semiconductor customers including Zephyr Operating Systems
- →Ensure customer satisfaction by providing outstanding support and guidance
- →Contribute to the development of documentation such as Application Notes, Quick Start Guides and User Manuals
- →Work with the marketing team to validate product requirements and review new product introduction materials
- →Assist in business development activities
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s or above degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- ✓8+ years of experience of developing firmware and/or software for embedded products
- ✓Demonstrated experience in developing device drivers and application software for digital and analog peripherals
- ✓Proficient in developing software for bare metal and Real Time Operating Systems
- ✓Zephyr experience is required
- ✓Proficient in C and/or C++ programming with best engineering and software development practices
- ✓Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other standard lab equipment
- ✓Comfortable working with well-defined and ambiguous requirements
- ✓Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proactive, can-do attitude
- ✓Desired Skills & Experience
- ✓Experience in ML/AI is a big plus
- ✓Image pipeline including camera, ISP, encoder, and display
- ✓Power management for embedded systems
- ✓Familiarity with BLE and 802.15.4
