About the Role
We are looking for an Accessories Designer to join our team at ALO. This role is vital to the team and brand, focusing on conceptualizing, designing, and developing a wide range of fashion accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct ideation and trend research, including online and in-person market research.
- →Create original designs for accessories, including sketches, color palettes, and materials.
- →Develop and track materials and trims for product launches.
- →Complete PLM/BOMs with accuracy.
- →Attend fittings and take detailed notes to ensure fit, construction, and materials accuracy.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and production.
- →Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders.
- →Manage production costs to ensure designs fit within budget constraints.
- →Contribute to the overall brand identity through your designs.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or related field experience.
- ✓Proven experience in accessories design, with a strong portfolio.
- ✓Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- ✓Strong understanding of textiles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- ✓Excellent visual and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- ✓Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- ✓Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the fashion industry.
- ✓Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
