About the Role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. This role focuses on defining, developing, and executing processes that deliver high-quality and reliable parts and sub-assemblies for our Maritime program.

Key Responsibilities

→Partner with design teams to support the design development process and generate product data for mechanical and simple electrical parts
→Provide guidance to internal teams for managing technical risks, prototyping, and scaling designs for volume production
→Drive supplier quality development processes throughout the product development stages
→Deliver predictable supply of parts to development and production programs
→Drive supplier quality readiness by analyzing key and critical characteristics
→Drive overall supplier performance for cost, quality, delivery, and fulfillment of strategic goals
→Own the elimination of supplier risk to improve quality and reliability
→Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities
→Review supplier effectiveness of actions and share lessons learned
→Audit the Quality Management System at suppliers
→Prepare, support, and lead supplier onsite audits and reviews

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field
✓Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering roles
✓Experience in scaling supplier capabilities and quality from prototype to production
✓Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements
✓Experience performing First Article Inspection to AS9102 Industry Standard
✓Experience with driving supplier performance and evaluation
✓Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T
✓A strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects
✓Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time
✓Must be able to obtain NV2 security clearance
