We are looking for a Civil Engineering Designer to join our growing team at ANS, a consulting engineering firm recognized as one of the Best Places to Work and Top 10 Hottest Engineering Firms in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- →Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create engineered construction plans and sheet setups, including plan views, sections, elevations, and details.
- →Work closely with civil engineers to interpret design intent and translate it into accurate CAD drawings.
- →Assist in generating exhibits and plans for grading, drainage, road design, and erosion control.
- →Follow internal and client standards and procedures for drafting and design.
- →Evaluate design alternatives for constructability, code compliance, and site challenges.
- →Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Requirements
- ✓A high school diploma is required, along with completion of an Autodesk AutoCAD certification program or equivalent drafting experience.
- ✓An associate or technical degree in CAD, civil engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
- ✓0–2 years of experience in civil design or drafting.
