About the Role

We are looking for a National Security Policy Engineer to join Anthropic's team. This role involves working directly with strategic national security customers and partners to drive transformational AI adoption, leveraging technical skills to architect innovative solutions that address business needs while ensuring reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

→Act as a primary technical advisor for senior government leaders and National Security customers evaluating Claude
→Partner with policy and sales teams to develop customized pilots and prototypes
→Drive technical decision making for optimal setup and integration of AI systems
→Represent customer needs to Product and Research teams
→Travel to customer sites for meetings and technical enablement
→Establish vision for beneficial and safe AI solutions
→Lead strategy and execution of innovative AI solutions

Requirements

✓Active TS/SCI security clearance
✓2+ years experience as Customer Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar in National Security space
✓Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
✓Experience in defense, technology, or cybersecurity industries
✓Experience designing innovative technical solutions
✓Strong technical aptitude with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
✓Understanding of LLM fundamentals
✓Ability to navigate ambiguity and work across domains
✓Experience with cross-organizational collaboration
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
