Responsibilities:
Own Growth Outcomes
•
Own and drive key metrics including D1/D7 retention, D30 subscription rate, engagement (activities per user), ARPU, and LTV.
•
Identify the highest-impact opportunities across the user lifecycle and prioritize ruthlessly.
Lead Retention & Engagement Systems
•
Design and optimize core product loops that drive repeat usage and habit formation (e.g., learning paths, rewards, progression systems).
•
Improve early user experience (first session, first week) to increase activation and reduce churn.
•
Partner with content and design teams to ensure experiences are engaging, intuitive, and age-appropriate.
Drive Monetization Strategy
•
Own subscription and IAP experiences, including paywalls, pricing, packaging, and offer strategy.
•
Optimize conversion surfaces across onboarding, in-product prompts, and lifecycle moments.
•
Balance monetization with long-term retention and learning outcomes.
Build and Scale Experimentation
•
Define and execute a robust A/B testing roadmap across onboarding, engagement, and monetization.
•
Use data, user research, and experimentation to validate hypotheses and continuously improve performance.
•
Establish clear success metrics, guardrails, and decision frameworks.
Improve End-to-End User Journeys
•
Identify friction across the funnel (e.g., onboarding drop-off, content discovery, payment failures).
•
Simplify and streamline the experience across devices and user types (parent vs. child).
•
Partner with platform teams to ensure reliability of account, authentication, and entitlement systems.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
•
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Art, UX, Data Analytics, Marketing, and Finance to deliver high-impact initiatives.
•
Align stakeholders on strategy, trade-offs, and priorities.
•
Communicate clearly with leadership on progress, risks, and results.
Minimum Qualifications:
•
5+ years of product management experience in consumer digital products (mobile or web).
•
Proven track record of driving measurable impact on growth metrics such as retention, engagement, or monetization.
•
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions and evaluate experiments.
•
Experience running A/B tests and building experimentation roadmaps.
•
Ability to define product strategy and execute in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
•
Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
•
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
•
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Experience in subscription-based or free-to-play (F2P) products with a focus on conversion and retention.
•
Background in mobile games, edtech, or consumer apps with engagement loops and virtual economies.
•
Experience optimizing onboarding, activation funnels, or lifecycle journeys.
•
Familiarity with pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy (subscriptions and/or IAP).
•
Experience working with dual-user systems (e.g., parent/child, buyer/user).
•
Knowledge of payment systems, subscription lifecycle management, or account platforms (helpful but not core).
•
Experience working with personalization, recommendation systems, or content discovery.
•
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
