About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team at Applaudo. This role involves building high-quality mobile applications at scale and solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

→Drive Android software development in a fast-paced environment
→Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver robust mobile solutions
→Take ownership of complex technical problems and ensure solutions support future growth
→Set and uphold high technical standards in code quality and architecture
→Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical knowledge sharing
→Participate in automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipeline enforcement
→Contribute to the adoption of AI-powered tools to improve development workflows
→Support strategic technical initiatives for platform modernization

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
✓5+ years of professional experience in Android development
✓Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin, Android SDKs, and libraries like Retrofit, Dagger, and Jetpack
✓Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges including performance optimization and debugging
✓Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns and clean code principles
✓Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams
✓Familiarity with AWS managed or serverless technologies (nice to have)
✓Experience mentoring junior developers
