About the Role
We’re looking for an Automation Engineer to join April’s team. This role involves building and testing April’s applications, APIs, computation engine, and financial platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automation processes, tools, and infrastructure, and ensuring quality is built into every step of the development life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop April’s manual testing and automation processes, tools, and infrastructure.
- →Be part of our core engineering team developing our services and system architecture.
- →Take a significant part in the testing and quality assurance processes across April and ensure quality is built into every step of the development life-cycle.
- →Help define and drive our best practices and frameworks.
- →Work closely with the product team to define the testing strategy and incorporate it into our program plans and roadmap.
- →Influence design decisions, architectures, select/evaluate tools, and enforce a quality-based approach.
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of Automation and QA experience building production-level services in large-scale products.
- ✓Experience with writing scripts with Python, Javascript, or equivalent.
- ✓Experience in designing and implementing test plans.
- ✓Experience in working with cross-platform services (Android, IOS, web, etc.).
- ✓Passion for clean code and agile methodology.
- ✓Excellent communication and a great team member.
- ✓Experience with Google Cloud, gRPC - Advantage.
- ✓BSc in Computer Science or related fields - Advantage.
- ✓Experience with American Tax - Advantage.
- ✓Experience in automating APIs testing - Advantage
