Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with Works Information, NEC3 requirements, and health & safety regulations
- →Issue Defect Notifications, support defect resolution, and chair regular quality meetings
- →Review and approve material submissions prior to site delivery
- →Liaise with County Council inspectors under S278 obligations
- →Maintain daily inspection, testing, and site activity records
- →Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities
- →Work within CEMAR, Field View and SharePoint systems
- →Coordinate with project Quality teams and feed site data into Quality Management systems
- →Maintain strong communication with the Contractor, Project Manager and key stakeholders
- →Provide clear written and verbal reports covering progress, quality, H&S, environment and stakeholder matters
- →Promote lessons-learned and knowledge-capture across the project
- →Build and maintain effective working relationships with project teams and Construction Managers
Requirements
- ✓Previous NEC works contract experience
- ✓Civil engineering background
- ✓MCHW and H&S experience
- ✓Ability to monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance
- ✓Experience with quality management systems
- ✓Strong communication and reporting skills
