About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated senior software engineer to join AuditBoard, a leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform. This role involves leading strategic projects, mentoring engineers, and designing scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and ship product features end-to-end
- →Write clear design documentation
- →Mentor fellow engineers
- →Lead application architecture decisions
- →Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs
- →Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS
- →Work on Ember SPA front-end
- →Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
- →Participate in Agile software development
- →Write maintainable and testable code
- →Be product-minded and customer-focused
- →Work with JavaScript, Node.JS, Ember, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes
- →Contribute to open-source projects
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience developing web-based applications
- ✓Experience with a modern front-end framework
- ✓Experience writing REST/JSON APIs
- ✓Experience writing software tests
- ✓Ability to solve technical problems independently
- ✓Motivation to work hard and continuously learn
- ✓BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
