About the Role
Avalere Health is seeking an Associate Principal to join the US Market Access & Commercialization Analytics team. This role requires deep expertise in healthcare data analytics, US market access strategy, and life sciences product commercialization. The ideal candidate will lead engagements that shape market access and commercialization strategy while overseeing analytic execution and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive business development efforts including proposal leadership and solution scoping
- →Serve as a senior client-facing leader managing relationships and presenting insights to executive stakeholders
- →Provide high-level oversight for analytic plan design, execution, and methodological rigor
- →Guide teams through complex data structures, analytic decision-making, and quality-control processes
- →Mentor, coach, and develop junior staff in analytic methods and claims data expertise
- →Lead cross-functional collaboration with market access, policy analytics, and evidence & strategy teams
- →Provide subject matter expertise for life-science economic models like gross-to-net and ASP models
- →Support internal capability building through thought leadership and enhancing analytic best practices
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics with 3+ years in market access or commercialization analytics
- ✓Graduate degree in a health-related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
- ✓Deep expertise in healthcare data analytics including Medicare claims, VRDC, and commercial claims
- ✓Familiarity with query or data management applications such as Databricks or Snowflake
- ✓Strong track record of leading client engagements and contributing to business development
- ✓Experience in economic modeling methodologies like gross-to-net and ASP models
- ✓Expert-level programming experience in SQL, SAS, Python, or R
- ✓Ability to communicate clearly and translate complex analytic findings into strategic insights
- ✓Thrive in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
