About the Role

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies and promote AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults. This field-based role requires building relationships with customers in clinic or hospital settings while also engaging through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals
→Promote products within approved labeling guidelines, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance
→Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing account management support
→Serve as a resource for customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes
→Maximize marketing resources to grow customer confidence in prescribing Axsome medications
→Communicate territory activity accurately and provide feedback to sales and commercial leadership
→Complete all training classes and administrative duties in a timely manner
→Manage promotional budget and collaborate across corporate functions
→Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed
→Ensure timely patient access through patient services and savings programs

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
✓Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management
✓Minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS experience
✓5 years of consistent top performance in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales
✓Psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred
✓Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding results
✓Launch experience strongly preferred
✓Must live in the territory's geography
✓Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams
✓Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines
✓Strong digital marketing aptitude
✓Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
✓Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs regularly
