About the Role
We are building Block Tracer, Binance's next-generation blockchain compliance analytics platform. As an Algorithm Engineer, you will develop cutting-edge algorithms for transaction analysis, entity clustering, risk assessment, and pattern recognition. This is a unique opportunity to work on real-world blockchain analytics at global scale, directly impacting the safety and compliance of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop algorithms for entity clustering, including classification and ANN
- →Design address clustering algorithms for UTXO chains with near 100% accuracy
- →Build cross-chain entity linking systems to track fund flows across blockchains
- →Build and optimize risk scoring models to assess address and entity risk levels
- →Develop address evidence quality models with full audit trails
- →Design heuristic algorithms to identify legitimate services and illicit activities
- →Adapt algorithms for new blockchains and protocol updates
Requirements
- ✓Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- ✓5+ years of algorithm development, machine learning, or data science experience
- ✓3+ years of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency analytics experience
- ✓Track record of deploying algorithms in production environments
- ✓Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- ✓Excellent communication to explain complex algorithms
- ✓Self-motivated, works independently in fast-paced environment
- ✓Team collaboration and mentoring abilities
- ✓English proficiency required
