About the Role
Square is looking for a tenured Account Executive to join their Outbound Sales Team, focusing on restaurant owners, particularly Small/Mid-sized businesses. This role involves creating outbound strategies, sourcing leads, and closing deals for Square's ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- →Understand merchant business and technology needs to execute a consultative sales approach
- →Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, demos, and develop solutions that meet prospect needs
- →Build strong relationships through field visits to increase win rates
- →Deliver a predictable outbound sales process to fill pipeline and close deals
- →Partner with Business Development Team to convert and close leads
- →Introduce Square to merchants in the restaurant vertical
- →Oversee the sales cycle from prospect to close
- →Achieve monthly sales goals and KPIs
- →Partner with Product and Marketing teams to ensure solutions meet market needs
- →Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of sales experience in a full cycle closing role
- ✓BA/BS degree or relevant experience
- ✓Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
- ✓Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Business development experience in new logo sourcing and acquisition
- ✓Collaborative and team player mentality
- ✓Prior Salesforce experience
