About the Role
We are seeking a Product Owner, a hands-on technical role responsible for building, integrating, and deploying blockchain and digital asset solutions for enterprise and institutional clients. This role works closely with Solution Architects, Delivery, Engineering, and Client teams to turn defined solution architectures into working, production-ready client platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- βImplement and deploy blockchain and digital asset solutions for enterprise and institutional clients
- βBuild and configure solution components based on defined solution architectures and platform patterns
- βIntegrate Blockstream products with core banking and financial systems, custody, payments, and treasury platforms, and external vendors
- βImplement APIs, data flows, and event-driven integrations across distributed systems
- βSupport deployment across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments
- βCollaborate with Solution Architects to validate implementation choices and raise technical constraints
- βWork with Delivery and Project Management teams to support execution, testing, and go-live activities
- βSupport DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure configuration, and environment setup
- βTroubleshoot integration, performance, and deployment issues across client environments
- βContribute implementation feedback to improve solution patterns, documentation, and reusability
- βSupport early-life production stabilization and operational handover
Requirements
- β3β6 years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, platform engineering, or system integration roles
- βHands-on experience building and integrating multi-system platforms in fintech, financial services, or security-sensitive environments
- βStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP a plus), modern deployment practices and CI/CD pipelines, and API-based and event-driven architectures
- βSolid programming skills in at least one of: Python, Go, Java, Rust, or similar
- βUnderstanding of security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, and encryption concepts
- βAbility to work effectively with architects, engineers, delivery teams, and client technical stakeholders
- βSelf-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of delivery
- βLanguages: Swiss German, German, French and English required; and/or Italian a plus
- βLocation: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich, Geneva and Lugano
