About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team at BlueCat. This role focuses on generating qualified pipeline through targeted outreach and partner collaboration to support our growing global demand for Network Observability software.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute targeted outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) against ideal customer profiles
- →Conduct discovery to confirm pain points, urgency, budget, and authority using qualification frameworks
- →Build and maintain a 3–4x coverage ratio versus quarterly ARR targets
- →Work closely with distributors and partners to co-prospect accounts and support joint campaigns
- →Map accounts, identify key decision-makers, and maintain clean Salesforce data
- →Book discovery/intro meetings for sales directors and prepare call briefs
- →Collaborate with marketing on campaign design and follow-up sequences
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- ✓3–5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in SaaS or IT software
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical acumen
- ✓Comfortable discussing IT infrastructure concepts like network monitoring and cloud environments
- ✓Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft)
- ✓Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn complex technology solutions
