About the Role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security team at BlueCat. This role supports Engineering, Sales, and Legal teams by addressing security-related questions and ensuring our products and systems remain secure and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

→Analyze and assess CVE reports; recommend mitigations, workarounds, and remediation steps
→Support ongoing governance and compliance
→Contribute to the security hardening of BlueCat products
→Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams
→Support product penetration testing by maintaining target systems

Requirements

✓4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems
✓Ability to understand code in languages such as Java or C
✓Understanding of software architectures, data-flows, and data-protection principles
✓Strong understanding of software development practices
✓Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell, Python)
✓Excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical
✓Solid understanding of IP networking and protocols (e.g., IPv4/6, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP)
✓Familiarity with higher-layer protocols and security architectures (e.g., TLS, SSH)
✓Knowledge of compliance domains such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR
