About the Role
Bluefish is seeking a Senior Customer AI Researcher to lead research on how AI models perceive and rank brands. This role will be the technical engine of our research arm, conducting sophisticated experiments to understand AI-powered internet mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the end-to-end technical research stack, including platform specifications and advanced prompt engineering
- →Generate high-impact thought leadership ideas by synthesizing industry trends and platform knowledge
- →Translate strategic briefs into rigorous data requirements and define research boundaries
- →Partner with the Editorial Director to ensure data-driven narratives are technically sound
- →Deliver clean, structured datasets and distill them into actionable insights
- →Build and maintain the Research Playbook for scalable processes
- →Provide Product and Engineering teams with direct evidence on platform performance
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in technical research, data science, or performance-based marketing analytics
- ✓Hands-on experience with LLM configurations and prompt engineering
- ✓Ability to manage large datasets and find patterns in AI-generated responses
- ✓Ability to break down high-level marketing questions into technical measurement plans
- ✓Excellent cross-functional collaboration with creative and technical teams
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a research-intensive field or equivalent experience
