About the Role
We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop filter circuits for electric vehicle power converters. This role involves working on high-voltage systems and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop filter circuits for power converters, considering EMC requirements
- →Design and simulate hardware components using tools like LTSPICE, PLECS, and MATLAB
- →Choose appropriate passive components based on application requirements
- →Develop new filtering techniques to improve efficiency and reduce EMI
- →Perform circuit simulation and analysis to analyze ripple and transient behaviors
- →Build and validate filter hardware prototypes
- →Conduct lab tests to measure voltage and current ripple, attenuation, and thermal parameters
- →Optimize filter designs for improved EMC performance
- →Troubleshoot hardware issues and propose solutions
- →Work with cross-functional teams to integrate filter solutions
- →Provide documentation of design decisions, schematics, and test results
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in designing filters for 400V HV-DC and 14V/200A LV DC lines
- ✓Experience with high voltage equipment – 800V, 400V systems
- ✓Strong understanding of EMC and EMI principles
- ✓Proficiency in circuit simulation tools
- ✓Knowledge of automotive standards
- ✓Experience with thermal simulations
- ✓Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
