About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the automotive product development field. This role involves designing tools for mass production and supporting the development of assembly and interconnection technologies for electronic control units.
Key Responsibilities
- →Mechanical design of tools for mass production
- →Manage tool production
- →Support development of AIT (assembly and interconnection technologies) for PCB based electronic control units
- →Support problem solving for series production
- →Setting up and evaluating experiments
- →Creating reports in English and presenting them to project teams
- →Work in cross-functional simultaneous engineering teams, with plants and with product development teams, both locally and internationally
- →Agreement of project targets with customer and regular reporting of project status to customer and management
- →Apply project management tools, like quality management, change management, risk management to ensure project success
Requirements
- ✓Experience in mechanical design and tool production
- ✓Knowledge of AIT and PCB technologies
- ✓Strong project management skills
- ✓Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- ✓Excellent communication skills in English
