About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Lakehouse team at Braze. This role involves building foundational infrastructure and tools that enable teams across the company to store, query, and analyze data at scale, including managing tens of billions of rows of event data daily.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build scalable web applications with a focus on back-end development
- →Design and implement automated data pipelines, asynchronous processing, or ETL applications
- →Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features
- →Maintain and optimize data platforms like Snowflake and ClickHouse
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of full-stack development experience
- ✓Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
- ✓Experience with tools like Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, and RabbitMQ
- ✓Excellent communication and organizational skills
- ✓Experience working in an agile team environment
