About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves working with Azure cloud technologies to design, build, and maintain data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL
- →Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data integration
- →Create and manage Azure Databricks notebooks for data transformation
- →Provide production support for data integration systems
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and performance
Requirements
- ✓4-6 years of experience in data engineering with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud technologies
- ✓Expertise in Azure Data Engineering tools including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL
- ✓Strong knowledge of PySpark, Databricks SQL, and Delta Lake concepts
- ✓Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and relational databases
- ✓Familiarity with Azure Synapse Workspace and best practices for data loading
- ✓Understanding of NoSQL databases and SQL
- ✓Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes for data engineering
- ✓Certification in DP-203 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) is a plus
