About the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our headquarters team. This position serves as the first point of contact for employee facilities requests and focuses on maintaining a safe, functional work environment through proactive maintenance and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- →Coordinate, track, and ensure timely completion of facilities requests through work order systems
- →Perform proactive property inspections and preventative maintenance on assets including refrigerators, drains, and HVAC filters
- →Liaise with building management, engineers, cafeteria service, and cleaning vendors
- →Partner with functional teams for desk moves, space reallocation, and special projects
- →Assist in processing bills, tracking expenses, and maintaining budget compliance
- →Issue and track building access cards according to established procedures
- →Install various features including whiteboards, shelving, and televisions as needed
- →Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in general building maintenance and repair or equivalent education
- ✓Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
- ✓Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to handle adverse situations positively
- ✓Experience working with outside vendors and managing work for optimal results
- ✓Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- ✓Experience with door hardware repair, basic HVAC troubleshooting, mounting heavy objects, minor plumbing, and minor electrical work
- ✓Experience using hand and power tools safely
- ✓Ability to work flexible hours and travel between locations as needed
- ✓Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and coordinate moving heavy items safely
